Get Ready for the Road Signs Test
Several states include a separate road signs test as part of their written knowledge exam. This test typically contains 10 or more questions about some of the most common road signs, usually selected from a pool of 50 or more signs.
In other words, there are many signs you must recognize for your road signs test. While some are easy to interpret and respond to, others may not be as obvious.
The Large Arrow
The large arrow sign is likely one of the more difficult signs. When seen in isolation on a test, it can be hard to identify where the sign is placed or what it actually means.
Statistics from various practice tests at Driver’s Prep show that only one out of three people answer questions about this sign correctly.
Why It Is So Easy to Miss
Intuitively, you probably understand how to react to this sign. That’s exactly why it’s easy to overlook during sign review—you don’t give it a second thought.
