Necessary Documents When Applying for a Utah License

Ensure you have all the necessary documentation before visiting a Utah Driver’s License office. Many applicants are sent back home just because they missed some documents.

Remember, documents must be an original or a copy certified by the issuing agency. No photocopies!

Documents are always subject to the staff review and approval. Sometimes, the Department may require additional information and may not approve you for a test on the same day, even if this is rare.

Documents should be in English to allow for a speedy process.
