Hawaii Road Signs on Your Knowledge Test

An essential part of your Hawaii knowledge test for a first learner’s permit or full driver’s license will deal with standard road signs, traffic signals, and pavement markings.

This quick test, consisting of just ten questions, will help you verify how many signs and signals you can identify and adequately explain.

Hawaii Road Signs on Your Knowledge Test

You are responsible for knowing and obeying all road signs and traffic signals. Still, the Hawaii Driver’s Manual only lists about 40 road signs and about ten different light signals.

DMV will only ask about the road signs and signals described in the Driver’s Manual on your Hawaii knowledge test.
